As summer winds down, rising French producer Thaylo isn’t quite done with the season yet.
Tomorrow, he returns to PLAYY. Records with a stirring new single, “One Life”. The final single before the release of his upcoming EP “Drown In Your Eyes” (out September 5), the track arrives as both a heartfelt look back and a reminder to seize every moment.
“One Life” wastes no time in setting its emotional tone. Anchored by reverberant, anthemic vocals and framed by a warm aura of soft pads and cinematic atmospheres, the track slowly builds from hushed introspection into cathartic release. Glittering arpeggios and pulsing basslines drive the track forward, carrying a four-on-the-floor groove that could just as easily echo across an Ibiza sunset as it could soundtrack a solo drive into the unknown. Take a listen to the track early here.

For Thaylo, this one is deeply personal and harkens back to his own musical awakening. “When I first got into music, I was a huge fan of progressive house and EDM,” he shares. “‘One Life’ is a nod to those early inspirations – a blend of my current style and the sounds that made me fall in love with electronic music in the first place.”
“The track is about how we only get one life, and we should live it to the fullest,” he continues. “I tried to capture that energy in the melody of the chorus. It’s a track that balances simplicity and impact, proving that sometimes, less is more—staying true to yourself and keeping things simple can often be the key to life.”

With over 4.5 million streams to his name, releases on labels like Purified, Colorize, and Kontor, and support from heavyweights like Martin Garrix and Nora En Pure, Thaylo is no longer just ANOTHER “one to watch”: he’s definitively commanding attention. Hailing from Grenoble and guided by influences as wide-ranging as Solomun, M83, and Ludovico Einaudi, his work is driven by a singular vision: emotionally resonant, piano-forward electronic music that moves the feet and the heart in equal measure.
“One Life” is out on all platforms tomorrow, and if this final single is any indication, “Drown In Your Eyes” is shaping up to be one of the season’s most luminous releases.
