Focusrite has announced that all of its USB audio interfaces are now fully compatible with Windows on Arm devices. Native Arm64 drivers are available today, allowing creators to run Focusrite hardware seamlessly on Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered laptops and desktops while maintaining the performance and sound quality that have defined the brand for decades.

With this update, Focusrite has extended support for both ASIO and non-ASIO applications, as well as its Focusrite Control and Focusrite Control 2 software. This ensures that artists, producers, and engineers using the latest Windows on Arm devices have the same control and reliability as those on Intel or AMD-based systems.

Jack Cole, Focusrite’s Product Manager for Drivers, shared the company’s perspective on the announcement: “This allows our users to enjoy the great sound and reliability they’ve come to expect from their Focusrite interface alongside the performance and battery life of the latest generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered laptops.”

Why Windows on Arm Support Matters for Creators

The inclusion of native Arm64 drivers marks an important step for musicians who rely on portable setups. Snapdragon-powered laptops running Windows on Arm are designed for extended battery life and efficient performance, making them an appealing choice for creators who want studio-quality results while working on the go.

Focusrite’s driver update eliminates a major barrier for professionals and hobbyists adopting these devices, ensuring that interfaces such as the Scarlett, Clarett, and Vocaster lines can now integrate directly into Arm-based workflows without additional configuration. This means artists no longer have to choose between compatibility and convenience.

Focusrite has also confirmed that it will continue supporting Intel, AMD, and Arm-based systems equally, with ongoing driver updates planned to further optimize performance across all platforms.

How to Access the New Drivers

The new Windows on Arm drivers are available now as a free download. Users can visit focusrite.com/downloads, select their interface, and install the Arm64 drivers to get started.

This update brings Focusrite’s entire product lineup into alignment with modern computing trends, giving musicians the flexibility to run their setups on any major Windows platform. By pairing this with its longstanding reputation for dependable, high-quality hardware, Focusrite has positioned itself as a future-ready choice for audio production.
