Veteran electronic producer EDX has returned with a fresh anthem titled “Moyo,” out now via PinkStar Recordings. Known for his refined progressive house style, EDX builds upon that foundation with a track designed to unite clubgoers through rhythm, melody, and emotion.
“Moyo,” which translates to “heart” in several South African languages, reflects its title with a sound that feels deeply intentional. The track begins with tribal percussion that draws listeners into an immersive rhythm. Atmospheric layers build throughout the intro before a deep bassline carries the momentum forward. As the track unfolds, a carefully crafted melodic progression rises into a peak moment, merging vibrant energy with a sense of connection.
This latest single has already proven itself in live settings, having been tested at recent performances in Toronto and Denver. According to EDX, the track was shaped by his desire to capture the collective feeling of the dancefloor. He shared that “’Moyo’ is a song that came from an emotional space. I wanted to create something that moves people, both physically and mentally. It has become one of my favorite tracks to play live because it connects instantly.”
“Moyo” builds on the momentum EDX has generated this year with prior releases such as “Cobalt” and “Desire.” The former leaned into a more driving club sound, while the latter featured Jess Ball and showcased his signature melodic style. Together, these singles illustrate a well-rounded and evolving sound that continues to resonate with both casual listeners and dedicated fans.
The release also arrives during a significant milestone for EDX’s label, Sirup Music, which celebrates 25 years of championing electronic talent. As one of the most consistent names in dance music, EDX continues to explore new sonic terrain while staying true to the uplifting energy that defines his work.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
