Montreal’s TDJ has announced her first full-length LP, a self-titled release landing June 27 via Collection Disques Durs and All Night Long. The news arrives alongside a new single, Where Is My Angel—a slow, bittersweet trance-pop hybrid that threads the emotional wiring of indie songwriting into the structure of a peak-hour record.

The track doesn’t move fast, but it lands with intent. Layers of sharp, clean synths unfold under vocals that feel exposed without being fragile. There’s no unnecessary buildup—just a slow rise, a clear topline, and the kind of phrasing that sticks. TDJ wrote, produced, and performed the entire track herself, like the rest of the album.

TDJ is not framed as a concept album, but it plays like a snapshot of what happens when someone tries to make sense of momentum while still inside it. Written across tour stops and long-haul flights, the record carries features from Real Lies, Clara Kimera, Danny L Harle, MRD, Hannah Diamond, and more—each track shaped by its own collaborators without disrupting the center.

This time around, she leans more into pacing. The tempos are slower. The pop influence is louder. It’s still trance, still engineered to hit, but there’s more breath and more detail in the space between peaks. That shift comes through clearly in Where Is My Angel, a track that builds without rushing and doesn’t push for emotional payoff—it lets it arrive on its own.

With upcoming sets at Dreamstate, Sonora, and Palomosa, TDJ is keeping her live presence active while pivoting into what looks like her most personal release to date.

TDJ is out June 27 via Collection Disques Durs / All Night Long.
