Adam Toxic has returned with his powerful new single “Awakening,” out now on Trip and Bass Records. Known for his expansive career across Europe and Asia and a deep-rooted presence in Poland’s underground electronic scene, Toxic, offers a fresh melodic techno cut that captures a pivotal moment of personal and creative transformation.

“‘Awakening’ was born during a very introspective period,” Toxic explains. “I wanted to create something that felt like a personal breakthrough — a kind of sonic rebirth. The idea was to reflect that moment of clarity when everything suddenly makes sense. It’s both a release and a buildup, like waking up emotionally or creatively. The hypnotic vocal in the track was key for me — it pulls you in and adds a human, almost spiritual layer to the journey.”

The production process began on the MOOG SUB 37, with a simple chord progression that eventually evolved into a sweeping, atmospheric journey. Toxic integrates reversed and time-stretched vocal textures to create a meditative ambiance. The use of modulation techniques such as dynamic filtering, reverb automation, and stereo imaging gives the track an organic, almost breathing motion that adds to its immersive nature.

Influenced by artists like ARTBAT, Tale Of Us, and Stephan Bodzin, Adam brings cinematic intensity and emotional complexity to “Awakening.” The result is a track designed for both the contemplative early hours and peak moments on the dancefloor. It balances dance-driven energy with introspective depth, a hallmark of Toxic’s growing catalog.

With over two decades in the scene, Toxic continues to refine his sound while pushing boundaries. His history includes collaborations with leading labels and performances alongside artists such as Carl Cox and John Digweed. His recent releases like “Theraflu” and his remix of Boris Brejcha’s “Space X” further demonstrate his dedication to impactful, high-quality productions.

Following the release of “Awakening,” Toxic is preparing new performances in Hamburg and Sri Lanka, as well as a forthcoming EP that dives deeper into analog synth experimentation and hybrid-live sessions. Be on the lookout for more entrancing releases from this rising, multi-faceted innovator.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
