Night Breeze is back with Wanaka Springs, and this one’s locked in. It’s out now on Magnetic Magazine Recordings after premiering on our SoundCloud last week—and if you heard it then, you already know what time it is.

The groove carries everything here. It’s that kind of low-end pocket that makes the track feel alive without having to blow up halfway through. No massive drop. No overdone FX. Just a clean, focused arrangement that’s clearly been thought through. The melodies drift in and out, the kick and bass keep things grounded, and nothing gets in the way.

We ran an interview with Night Breeze ahead of the release, and it set the tone for what this track delivers. He talked about coming from a rock background—learning Hendrix and Santana on guitar, getting into Radiohead and Bob Moses later on—and you can feel that in the way this track moves. It’s not built on loops. It plays out like a full band, with chords doing most of the talking.

What stood out to me is how confident it is. It doesn’t chase trends. It doesn’t feel like it came from a template. It holds tension without dragging, and every section has a clear reason for being there. You don’t hear that enough.

If you’re into stripped-back, groove-driven house that works in a mix but also holds up solo, this is one worth grabbing. It’s out now on all platforms and up on Beatport. I’ve already added it to the Deep & Groovy Melodic House playlist, and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to stay there for a while.
