One of the most exciting weeks on the festival schedule, is undoubtably Austin’s SXSW festival. The original hub for new talent and creativity, the biggest music industry melting pot and a place for hungry A+R teams, industry bods and upcoming artists to make a “name” for themselves.
Famous for a week of thought-provoking keynote speakers, industry pioneers, and visionary creatives who are shaping the future of technology, entertainment, and beyond. We will be covering a week of panel discussions, hands-on workshops, technology and of course, live music
Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, creative visionary, industry professional, or simply curious about the future, SXSW 2024 offers something for everyone. Some names added to the line up already include The Black Keys and performing on the infamous Billboard stage is Party Next Door. Some of the electronic music talent on display includes Sofia Kourtesis, Ho99o9, Laura Misch, Nils Hoffman, Orbit and Vitesse X
However, if you’re one of the ambitious creatives attending this year – you’re of course going to be, more interested in attending some industry parties to rub shoulders with some useful folks..

Ridiculous Boat Party
Said to have been one of the absolute highlights of last years event. Run by consultancy and management team Ridiculous, this is a floating party of live music and industry bods. Spaces are limited so sign up here if you want a chance to rock up to this one.
Marshall Funhouse @ Parish
Hosted by the team behind the amps.. Marshall have put together three days of food, music and networking that should be a useful connection base for anyone looking to meet the global music industry. And guess what, it’s in a church. Wholesome. You can grab a limited, RSVP here
Nordics @ SXSW
The Nordic countries are very good at this I must say. If you go to any industry or innovation event, there is without doubt a Nordic takeover and inevitably, a good opportunity to score some top tier free food and meet with one of the most exciting and rich areas of the music industry.
Full Irish Breakfast @ Flamingo Cantina
Presented by Music From Ireland, this event is pretty much as it says on the tin. A chance to check out some of Irelands best new music.. And, they’re giving out FREE bloody mary’s. So you’ll find me there bright and early, RSVP available here
Rolling Stone’s Future Of Music @ The Moody Theatre
