Two rising stars in the house music scene, CRMBS and SCHEINY, are making waves with a dual release on DJ Susan’s Hood Politics label. “The Way You Moov,” a reinterpretation of OutKast’s classic, followed by the bass-driven “Sidechick,” both recently dropped on the imprint.

“Sidechick” takes on the Pointer Sisters’ classic, infusing a relentless bassline, thumping beats, and pitch-shifted vocals for a modern bass house feel. This percussion-forward anthem promises to keep the energy through the roof.
The collaboration between CRMBS and SCHEINY stems from a friendship forged in 2017. Their shared passion for driving club tracks led to the creation of these two distinct yet dancefloor-primed tunes.
CRMBS, an independent artist, producer, and DJ from Chicago, Illinois, brings a mix of house, disco, techno, and breaks to his eclectic sound. As a classically trained percussionist and Drum Corps International silver medalist, CRMBS infuses his tracks with unique rhythms, melodies, and samples. His captivating live performances, marked by a drum-forward style, have seen him share the stage with artists like Tchami, Gettoblaster, Tony Romera, and Wenzday.
SCHEINY, is an ascending force in the house music community. With a penchant for driving club tracks, SCHEINY’s collaboration with CRMBS represents a meeting of minds focused on making music ready to do damage in the club.
Adding to the excitement, CRMBS and SCHEINY will perform a back-to-back set at Sound Bar in Chicago tomorrow, December 9th, supporting tech house sensation Wenzday. They are guaranteed to rip these two electrifying tunes at some point during their performance.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki.
