The World Health Organization has finally declared the pandemic over, and the musicians, DJs, and producers of the world can finally get back out and do what they do best, make us dance!
April’s releases came from new and very familiar talents. Alison Goldfrapp released her first solo LP, Jessie Ware‘s new album is pure disco bliss, Jake Shears reminds us of why he is one of the best in the business, and Cerrone just keeps reminding us why he is a godfather of the disco scene!
Artists like AXNÉR, Anoraak and Kimchii, and Jean Tonique continue to up their game on their new releases. Newer artists Terr and Alex Fernet also continue to breathe life into the world we know as disco and funk. April’s tracks are some that you never want to forget, so let’s take a listen, shall we?

Now that the world feels a little more normal, make sure to get out and support your favorite artists at festivals, clubs, concerts, and DJ gigs! Follow them on socials and definitely get out there and buy their music, whether you are a fan of digital downloads or are like me and want to hold something in your hand, just make sure to buy the music that you love so the artists can keep doing what they love!
