On this last day of women’s history month, here are fifteen of the best new indie electronic tracks recently released from female music artists. Representing a small minority of producers and music artists in the global music market, the talent represented on this month’s indie electronic playlist is both inspiring and undeniable. The tracks contained in this playlist represent an eclectic around of captivating sounds from incredibly talented women from across the globe.
Artists featured on the playlist include main stage festival artists such as Nora En Pure and Sofi Tukker as well as producers just below the radar such as Montreal based producer Sinca and Istanbul based producer Elif. Ranging from drum and bass to melodic house to soulful indie electronic, this playlist provides a musical memento and soundtrack for this month’s empowering women’s history month.
1. “THE PARALLEL” – SINCA & EDUARDO MCGREGOR
Montreal based producer Sinca powerfully showcases her production prowess on her latest single “The Parallel.” Supporting artists such as Ben Böhmer and Sasha and releasing on labels such as Ajunadeep, Sinca’s melodic production style could best be described as hypnotizing and ethereal. This new collaboration from LP Giobbi and Sofi Tukker shows the blending of two incredible female talents coming together to produce some vibey magic. The wonderful dance tune dynamically melds LP Giobbi’s masterful piano playing with Sofi’s subtle yet mesmerizing vocals. 3. “TIGHTEN IT UP” – DRAMA
The latest from duo DRAMA features Via Rosa’s soulful vocals and an undeniable groove. The track loudly preaches that confidence is key. As DRAMA stated on their Instagram the track “is inspired by what it’s like to meet someone on the dance floor and share a moment of electric feisty energy.”
4. “ALL THE GIRLS” – J. WORRA & Shift K3Y
This loud yet fun four on the floor banger is undeniably larger than life. With lyrics such as “all the girls in the place with glitter on your face” this track is sure to get dance floors shaking their tail feathers around the globe in 2023. One of dance music’s most exciting names today is certainly Nicole Moudaber’s. Her new dark techno single “Intentionally” hits hard in all the right places. Globally renowned for her cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances, Nora En Pure recently dropped her first single of 2023 titled “Indulgence.” The melodic and ethereal house music tune powerfully continues Nora’s musical legacy as she entrances listeners with her dreamy sonic arrangement. 8. “JSYK” – PAULINE HERR
Carving out her own lane, Pauline Herr is without a doubt one of the most talented up-and-coming producers in dance music today. 10. “REMIND ME” – BOOKASHADE REMIX (JOPLYN)
Multi-talented and dynamic house music producer Joplyn recently released a remix compilation of some of her tracks titled Saint Jordi 02 – Remixes. One of the most exciting remixes featured is from renowned house music duo Booka Shade. The duo offers an interesting perspective of Joplyn’s 2022 single release “Remind Me” while also maintaining the integrity of the original and her ethereal vocals.

12. “LET GO” – ELIF + STIL & BENSE
Istanbul based producer Elif is taking the world by storm with her cutting-edge production and compelling live sets. In recent years, Shells has developed a reputation as one of the best vocalists in house music today. Collaborating with the likes of Dombresky and Sonny Fodera, Shells recently dropped an invigorating house music tune with HotLap titled “You & I.” Shells steals the spotlight with her super smooth and soulful vocals on the ultra groovy single.
