Offering multiple advancements over its predecessor, the Pioneer DJ DJM-900NXS2, the new DJM-A9 mixer produces more natural-sounding audio. Including an ESS Technology 32-bit high-quality analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) converters into the channel input section and the master and booth output sections, the DJM-A9 disperses clear sound to the booth and dance floor.  

The DJM-A9 mixer is the next generation of music production, bringing you an unbeatable sound quality that will take your music to new heights. Equipped with an ESS Technology 32-bit high-quality A/D converter, you can expect crystal-clear sound with every track.

But it’s not just the sound quality that sets the DJM-A9 apart. With evolved playability, the DJM-A9 boasts higher-quality and slicker channel faders than its predecessor, the DJM-900NXS2. Plus, with the third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader, you can produce silky-smooth mixing and rapid, stable scratching that will have your fans begging for more.

The DJM-A9 also offers increased spacing around the EQ knobs and bright LEDs in the channel section, making it easier to visualize sound levels and perfect your mixes.

With the industry-first Center Lock feature for Sound Color FX, each knob will stop turning once the knob has reached the center position. And with the advanced Beat FX, you can quickly and accurately understand the status of the selected effect, thanks to the new color display. It features lighting corresponding to the X-Pad’s horizontal arrangement, enabling more intuitive control with a simple finger slide. Within the 14 total Beat FX, you can use three new ones to add extra variation to your performances, including Mobius, Triplet Filter, and Triplet Roll.

The DJM-A9’s microphone section provides more control and adds extra creativity for DJs, with three new microphone effects, including Echo, Pitch, and Megaphone. The phantom-powered input is a feature never seen before on a DJ mixer, allowing you to connect a high-quality condenser mic directly to the DJM-A9.

Connect two different PC/Mac computers simultaneously using dual USB Type-B and USB Type-C ports for seamless transitions between DJs and easy back-to-sets. And with Bluetooth input, you can wirelessly drop audio tracks into sets from other devices and use all the mixer’s features and effects.
