Mister Lies
is Nick Zanca, a 19-year-old Chicago based producer studying philosophy and dramatic writing at Chicago’s Columbia College. Although Zanca considers Chicago home, he originates from the suburbs of New Canaan, Conn., the place where he’ll head back to over summer to work on his debut full-length, a follow up to “Hidden Neighbors” EP and the collaborative “Mass” EP with fellow Chicago producer Different Sleep.

Pitchfork interviewed Zanca as a feature piece for the rising artist category, a category I thoroughly enjoy reading because it continues to add new artist into my music library. Aside from the other features, Mister Lies has an old soul for a young individual. He creates music that appeases him and to say the very least his music is eloquent to the ears. Click here for the interview. Check out Mister Lies tracks down below. Educate your ears.
